After the great success of “Play to Pay part I,” we are excited to return with an even more practical panel, where we will dive into the realm of online royalties. read more

Revenue from online streaming has become increasingly significant for our rights holders. However, understanding how these earnings translate into the funds deposited into your bank account can be complex. In this workshop, drawing insights from income statements, we will explain why the concept of “stream value” is non-existent and how revenues from User-Generated Content (UGC) platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and TikTok are calculated. Through this panel, we aim to provide valuable context for all rights holders and offer practical examples.

Next to that, we are thrilled to introduce our new member portal feature for the first time: “Online Track and Trace.” This function allows members to observe how their royalties were calculated and gain insights into upcoming distributions. This information will be available within hours of BumaStemra receiving data from the Digital Service Providers (DSPs).
