North Africa is one of the fastest-growing music markets in the world, with a creative scene that is increasingly shaping global sounds. BumaStemra and Dutch Music Export are joining forces to deepen the connection between the Dutch and North African music industries.

On Thursday, 24 September 2026, we bring together a select group of BumaStemra members, publishers, music professionals, songwriters & producers for Connecting Sounds: North Africa, a full day of knowledge exchange, panel discussions, and networking at Cruise Control Studios, Amsterdam.

Program highlights

The afternoon opens with a welcome from BumaStemra and Dutch Music Export, followed by keynote sessions on the North African music market, panel discussions with industry professionals from the Netherlands and North Africa, a roundtable on international collaboration and rights, plus networking drinks.
