How do I log in to MBS with two-step verification?

When you log in to MijnBumaStemra (MBS), two-step verification starts automatically. We do this to better protect your data. You can choose to confirm your identity using an authenticator app or via email.

Logging in and confirming your identity with an authenticator app

1. Download the Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator app on your phone
2. Scan the QR code
3. A verification code will appear; enter this code on the MBS login screen
4. You will then receive several recovery codes; store these safely in case you lose your phone
5. Complete the login process

Logging in and confirming your identity via email

1. Enter your email address on the MBS login screen and select ‘request one-time code’
2. You will receive an email with a one-time login code
3. Enter the verification code on the MBS login screen
